The EA s.r.l. has been founded in 1962 by Mr. Benigni Roberto, under the name Elettromeccanica Adriatica, in order to answer to the remarkable demands for renewing the LV and MV electrical systems and all the distribution network during the 60’s years in Italy.

In 70’s years the first MV Disconnector for primary distribution and later on the first Load Break Switch for the Secondary Distribution were developed.

At the beginning of the 90’s years the EA s.r.l. developed the process of breaking with  SF6 in pressurized tanks and developed a new range of the products SF6 insulated.

The peculiarity is represented from the employment of a base equipment suitable for 24 and 36 kV, for panels, for outdoor execution on overhead lines and with a high degree of standardization.

Such product has given to EA s.r.l. the possibility to start with an internationalization process up to be present in more than 15 foreign countries.

In parallel a remarkable experience in the realization of Primary Cabins, Substations until to 380 kV, Hydro Power Plants, Offshore Platforms, etc. have been developed and more than 1000 systems have been realized allowing to the EA s.r.l. to reach an important position on the international scenario.

The certifications of the Quality System under the ISO 9000 Standard, the Environment System under the ISO 14001 Standard and the Safety System under ISO 18001 Standard emphasize the efforts that EA s.r.l. produces for having a strong position and to improve it.

In 2016 EA srl became part of the "alfanar" Arabic group acquiring further development capacity both in terms of products, services and markets.
